Reading is really nice!

Reading give us opportunity… for information, for learning, for thinking, for feeling and even for things like wisdom, growth and divinity!  And, we can take it or leave it as our wise selves see fit…

The Great Dr. Seuss has said “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”  Most of us like to go to more cool places…

…I’m also believing that simply by reading the things like: information, learning, thinking, feeling, wisdom, growth and divinity are things that lead each and all of us to becoming Even More loving, responsible, compassionate and just plain nice…

…because nice matters

Quieting those noisy voices in our heads is really nice!

As we grow up we somehow collect a whole bunch of ‘rules’…things to do…shoulds, have to’s and musts that even tho they live far beneath the surface, they still tend to cloud our heads with the yama yama of what others have given to us.

When we take a moment or two and just breathe….we calm our bodies, we quiet those those inner voices…and sometimes we can even hear that quiet voice from within…and find peace.

Please take a moment or two, calm your body…quiet those voices…and then continue…

Friendly greetings are really nice…

Good Morning!   Good Afternoon  &  Good Evening!

They all land feeling really good and send a warm cheery message of:  “Hello!”, “Glad to see you!” and in a round-a-bout kind of way they let the other person know that they matter…because they do.

Greet folks in your life like your glad to see them…because you really are, and…

No can be really nice; even tho lots of folks might not think so.

No is nice because it allows the “No-er” to clearly create a boundary, to share a preference, to make a choice and honor their self in some way…and honoring our-self is always nice. 

No is nice to the “No-receiver” because it helps them to know the “No-er”, then to honor, accept and love them as they show up in their honest to goodness being their self way…

Practice “No” when it feels just right…go ahead and be a nice No-er…

Doing things because we know our loved ones like is really nice…

When we do things they like we’ve already taken the time to get to Know them…which is loving. AND we are taking to time to Respond to that knowing with loving acts…which is loving and really nice.

So, if you’ve already taken the time to get to know someone, give them whatever it is they like today…because they matter and…

Learning is really nice…

And we can be always learning if we are open to it! Learning is that thing we humans will naturally do…we see, we hear, we feel, we think, we act. 

Learning is that thing which includes processing new information and incorporating it (or not) in some effective way in our lives.  It means that we are growing, evolving and becoming even more of who we came here to be!  …and that’s just fun.

Of course being open to learning means believing we have lots to learn; or at least something to learn most anytime because we do, and…

Letting your family know they matter to you is really nice.

Most people say family means that somewhere along the generational lines you have shared ancestors. Well, doesn’t that mean that somewhere along the generational lines we’re all brothers and sisters?

Some families have dogs, or cats, or lizards… while other families brothers or sisters. Some  have Mom’s some have Dad’s some have both and some have 2 or more of each! Families come in all shapes and sizes and vary as much as there are stars in the sky.

Family are those we share our lives with…who matter to us as much or more than we matter to them.  So let’s let them know today just how much they matter…

 There is no failure, only feedback

Believing in receiving is really nice…

Receiving is kinda like earning…accept there’s not necessarily any so-called ‘work’ involved…

sometimes it comes in the form of money, sometimes gifts, sometimes a thank you or a gentle caress. It can be a small note, a warm smile or an invitation to a ball!  Sometimes we receive things that don’t feel as nice…a broken leg, a parking ticket or a bad cold… and although they don’t feel nice, and they’re good info about us and the “What” we are receiving.

We are always receiving… invite nice things that make you smile…
