Coaching Definitions:
Two simple definitions offered: Co-Active Coaching and Consultive Coaching. My style leans heavily on the Co-Active Model.
Coaching Prep Form:
This is a form I encourage clients to use to get the most from their sessions. Preparation prior to sessions allows for both us to point our brains in the same direction prior to the coaching session, and then make the most of our time together! If you are currently in coaching or therapy, use this prior to your session and watch the difference!
Compassion Affirmations:
This is my condensed version of the more formal compassion exercise below. Directions: While thinking of a person you may feel frustration, anger, etc toward repeat each sentence using their name in the place of 'others'. On a daily basis, state these sentences as you think about all the others you may come into contact with. Using this is a sure way to bring more peace, compassion and love into your life.
Compassion Exercise:
A more formal model of the above. Excellent model for increasing personal peace and compassion.
Coaching Model:
This is a great depiction of some of the normal 'other than conscious' influences that run our lives without our even knowing. Coaching is a way to become conscious of these influences, and learning to connect with your authentic self. Courtesy of Coachville.

Having reactions are normal, failing to do something about them is choice. Our reactions are our own, not the fault or blame of anyone outside ourselves. This article normalizes the notion of 'triggers and buttons' and points toward a solution.
